Oggi voglio segnalarvi il blog di una mia amica, in particolare volevo parlare della sua storia, Nocturnales.

"9 Termidoro anno II (27 luglio 1794): la caduta di Robespierre segna la fine del Terrore secondo alcuni, la fine della Rivoluzione Francese secondo altri.
I protagonisti maschili -i due Robespierre, Couthon, Saint-Just e Le Bas- sono ghigliottinati, ma le protagoniste femminili- mogli, fidanzate, amiche e sorelle- sopravvivono. Così tocca a Elisabeth, Eléonore, Henriette e Charlotte il compito di sopravvivere a quest'ultima tragedia, guardando al futuro e facendo i conti con un passato dolce e pesante.
Questa é la loro storia."
Dopo le mie varie vicende universitarie (e non) l'ho finalmente iniziata a leggere e che dire...è stupenda!
Mi sta piacendo davvero molto!
E' una storia che inizia lentamente, scritta con estrema precisione (e passione!), nella quale si muovono personaggi veramente ben delineati.
A volte, per quanto tutto è descritto accuratamente, non si distingue se si sta leggendo o guardando un film, e anche l'atmosfera è resa benissimo, così come i luoghi.
Inoltre l'uso di espressioni o termini in lingua francese non fa che rendere il tutto ancora più realistico.
Sono arrivata al settimo capitolo in pochissimo tempo, e che dire ovviamente seguiterò a leggere!

Well, today I'd like to introduce you the blog of my friend Bea, especially I'd like to talk about her story Nocturnales. Probably the best way to describe this work are her own words:

"9 Thermidor Year II (27 july 1794): the fall of Robespierre trace the end of the Reign of Terror for some, the end of French Revolution for others.
The main male characters- the two Robespierre, Couthon, Saint-Just and Le Bas- are executed, the female characters- wives, fiancées, friends and sisters- survive. Like this, Elisabeth, Eléonore, Henriette and Charlotte have the task to survive to this ultimate tragedy, looking for a future and still, to come to term with a sweet heavy past.
This is their story."
After many "adventures" because of uni's things(and not), I've finally started this story.
The only words I can say are "it's awesome!" I really like it!
The story starts slowly, written with extremely care (and passion!), where well-defined characters move around. Sometimes it's like if I can't understand if I'm reading or I'm watching a movie. This is because everything it's described with extreme care, so as for the atmosphere that one can "breath", or the descriptions of the places. Furthermore the use of typical French expressions make all even more realistic.
I've reached the 7° chapter and obviously I'm going to continue reading!
