After a long time of inactivity, here I am!
Today I'm going to introduce you an artist from Brest called Goulven Ka.
He is a singer and a cellist that has debuted last January with his first CD, "Enigmatik".
This album is an agreable mix of different musics and thanks to his charming voice you will be projected in several atmospheres: breton, classic and sud-american ones.
Goulven has discovered cello at the age of 6 and he also experimented with jazz piano during his adolescence. From what I've learned, he has a very rich musical education and he still works on it to complete it and improve himself also in other fields like singing, playing the piano, composing music in different musical styles. He's busy with several activities, and since 2010 he has been playing with an harpist, Gwenaël Kerleo, and with many other bands like Le Trio Amezeien, Les Violents Celtes and Juanito Fuentes.
If you want to learn more about him, here for his official website and you can also find him on myspace.
Also, people able to understand French can find a good interview made by Radio Breizh here.
And last but not least, this is a good preview about Enigmatik made by Mignonmoogle:
Not bad, isn't it? I think this is an album that you can't miss!
